Je n’avais pas encore pris le temps de vous présenter le photographe ayant immortalisé notre journée, David Bacher, il y a quelques six mois de ça, alors aujourd’hui c’est chose faite. David aime photographier les mariages, il raconte une histoire en images, ce qui est le propre d’un photojournaliste. « C’est être là au bon moment et au bon endroit, sans s’imposer. C’est ressentir le moment plutôt que de demander aux invités de poser ».

David a grandi aux Etats-Unis et travaille en France en tant que photographe professionnel depuis 2004. Il travaille également pour des magazines, dont National Geographic France où il a remporté un prix pour son reportage sur les Sami en Laponie. David est aussi membre de la prestigieuse association Américaine des photojournalistes de mariage, WPJA.

“David enjoys photographing weddings because it enables him to tell a story with pictures, which is the main job of a photojournalist. “Getting nice shots is about being at the right place at the right time, and not being overly present. It’s about sensing the natural moment, rather than telling people to pose.” David grew up in the U.S. and has been working as a professional photographer in France since 2004. In addition to his wedding work he also photographs for magazines, the most well known being National Geographic France, where he has won an award for his reportage on the Sami people in Laponie. David is also a member of the prestigious WPJA (wedding photojournalist association) that groups together the best wedding photographers around the world.”
