And especially a huge love at first sight for the wedding dress chosen by Stephanie, all sober and elegant, with its delicate boat neck, devastating back, 3/4 sleeves and structured skirt! A faultless perfectly in the trend!
Stephanie and Pascal are sharing their story with us … “Our story began in high school 20 years ago, at a bend in the hallway … After 10 years of losing our bearings, we ended up not to leave He in London, me in France, after many round trips, we decided very quickly that we wanted to live together, in France at first to be able to leave later.For our 10 years, Pascal organized his request, one year after the birth of our daughter, and it was during a surprise stay in London, “our city”, in which our story was built through our travels down, that it made me his request.
After much attention and a wink in connection with our history, he made me ask the question with small signs on which he asked me to marry him. I did not expect it because it was not at all in our projects. The surprise was total, it was obviously a big yes! “
“So we got married April 20, at the town hall of Nantes at first and then the Domaine du Thiemay at Fay de Bretagne the next day. Our wedding took place over 3 days, to finish with a brunch day where the children could enjoy an inflatable structure rented by the owner of the place and the biggest were able to revel in the sun offered by this last day.”
“We were able to celebrate our secular ceremony surrounded by all our loved ones. A moving ceremony, filled with love and attention and laughter of course, we will never thank them enough for that, thanks to them and a friend who officiated for us, this moment remains unforgettable.”
“Thanks to the help of our wedding planner, (Maud Million, Ambiana, agency in Nantes), we were able to set up the wedding we wanted, the one that trulu reflected us, this moment that would put our loved ones in a cocoon with we celebrate together this unique moment.
We wanted a chic country wedding, with beams, candles, wood, vegetation, tall trees, lanterns … We found the place of our reception very quickly, we had a real crush for the magnificent park and the reception room very nature and raw proposed by the field of Thiemay.

“Then came my meeting with the Maison Tesson, in Nantes, and with its creator Sébastien who, in a few fittings, the taking of many measures, with the addition of small details that I had gleaned from here and there, finalized my dress.
This dress was the one that I had imagined from the beginning, a dress with a thick fabric, a lot of volume for the skirt and a top rather close to the body, a boat neck and a wide belt very tight at the waist. Last fitting: perfect, it was her, beautiful! Before the fittings, during my first research, my main fear was to tell me that another dress could have pleased me somewhere, that to choose one would be too difficult, but with this dress, more hesitation, was her and not another. This is also why I wanted to go through a designer.”
“We did not want a meal going on forever, so we chose a long cocktail where guests could take the time to chat and enjoy the evening under the sun. (that we hoped and who was well to go in this mid April)
We wanted a caterer who focused on the simple, rather than elaborate and complicated flavors often proposed for weddings with their complicated names. We met Kevin from Saveurs Gourmandes. What a treat ! The guests still tell us about it, very tasty preparations, simple products in preparations that delighted our taste buds. The meal consisted of an appetizer, a dish and 3 pieces of cabbage made by the pastry chef at Emma, a specialist cabbage of all kinds in Nantes. A delight, the guests loved their originality with their original colors and fragrances.”
“For the evening, we wanted to surprise our guests with a little wink, something a little offbeat that is not a firework (prohibited in the park) or a throw of confetti and glitter (complicated to clean Maud then advised us to create a “Hora Loca”, inspired by South American marriages. An hour after the launch of the evening, our witnesses arrived with balloons, hats, glasses and colorful buoys to share with everyone! The guests loved it, the atmosphere went up a notch very quickly, the evening was launched, what a moment of celebration and sharing.
We were able to let go, really, it’s completely possible, helped by our relatives, our witnesses and of course our wedding planer, we took full advantage of all these moments.”
“A wedding planer is an extra cost of course. But if you like to be surprised while giving your main ideas, it’s a real alternative when you have little time to set up a wedding. Our meeting with Maud was decisive, a real feeling between us, we loved his world, his personality and we were not disappointed and would really recommend him!
If we had to choose a moment that we preferred, all times together (preparation and D-day, secular ceremony etc ..) It would be impossible.It’s a whole, really Pascal and I felt the same, from the beginning at the end: we were surrounded by love, in the preparation of this great day to the realization of this day so exceptional.All able to gather all our relatives, family and friends, to reserve a moment of happiness with us, it was what mattered most to us.
But our marriage is also meetings, professionals who were for us as close as friends, we could not work with them without it. We need to surround ourselves with trustworthy and caring people.”
“We would both say that of the “first look“, where the bride and groom discover themselves away from the eyes of the guests who are waiting for them. A special moment that we recommend to all married. A moment in slow motion, just for us, before an inevitable acceleration, a day and a night passing in a snap of a finger. This moment was magical, unique or we discover each other, a look that sparkles as the first day before the start of the festivities, as if the Earth was turning without us a few moments.
And of course all the little surprises organized by my sisters during the preparations (the organization of my bachelor party, they had embroidered “team bride” on their jacket in jeans or they had prepared me small lucky boxes with in each of them a blue, old, borrowed and new object, not counting on the movies where each guest participated!)”
“If it was again, we would choose to have a videographer. This is our only regret, we have very few videos (taken by the guests) of these three days. Today, we would want to be able to relive some of them, we dive into this atmosphere, especially during the secular ceremony or during the dance. Relive all these emotions live.”
