“I still have an emotional memory of my marriage proposal, it was magical… Without I knew it, Bertrand had bought a ring before we went on holiday in Mexico. During our roadtrip in Yucatan, we decided to spend a few days at the Habitas hotel in Tulum. “We wanted our wedding to be friendly, intimate and very natural. After several venues visits, we fell in love with the Chateau de Fajac in the heart of the Toulouse countryside, a sumptuous place full of emotions and history which we could house a part of our family and our friends.
We then did all the preparations together: share ideas designed by Rachel Marvin in the United States, until the choice of the florist, the DJ… It was a real start-up of the wedding for a year. We learned a lot from each other during this year of preparations. “
“It was important to us that our wedding took place over several days in order to enjoy the presence of our loved ones.The wedding eve, we realized a barbecue at the Castle with only a few friends, the atmosphere was intimate and relaxing. The next day, our religious ceremony took place in the magnificent Notre Dame de l’Assomption Church in Montgeard and continued with a reception and an outdoor dinner at the Chateau de Fajac. On Sunday we received again our guests at the Chateau for a brunch in the sun accompanied by the Foodtruck “Mecs aux camions“. “
“Our wedding was the perfect reflection of what we wanted: a bohemian and friendly atmosphere, gourmet dishes as well as good wines, a radiant sun and even the red moon for dinner outdoors.
We were extremely touched by the presence of our family and friends to help us set everything up the day before and the day was a great collective effort.”
