Sarah and Bertrand imagined a wedding in their image. Simple, casual, happy, and especially over several days, to make the most of their guests! A wedding at Château Fajac La Relenque near Toulouse photographed by Angelo Lacancellera and immortalized in video by pierre&julie (which you will meet next February at LOVE.ETC)!
“I still have an emotional memory of my marriage proposal, it was magical… Without I knew it, Bertrand had bought a ring before we went on holiday in Mexico. During our roadtrip in Yucatan, we decided to spend a few days at the Habitas hotel in Tulum. This hotel is a true paradise: bohemian chic decoration, glamping, infinity pool overlooking the private beach. It is in this idyllic setting that Bertrand proposed during our stay. evening and then we enjoyed a mystical concert by DJ Eduardo Castillo. “
“We wanted our wedding to be friendly, intimate and very natural. After several venues visits, we fell in love with the Chateau de Fajac in the heart of the Toulouse countryside, a sumptuous place full of emotions and history which we could house a part of our family and our friends.
We then did all the preparations together: share ideas designed by Rachel Marvin in the United States, until the choice of the florist, the DJ… It was a real start-up of the wedding for a year. We learned a lot from each other during this year of preparations. “
“It was important to us that our wedding took place over several days in order to enjoy the presence of our loved ones. The wedding eve, we realized a barbecue at the Castle with only a few friends, the atmosphere was intimate and relaxing. The next day, our religious ceremony took place in the magnificent Notre Dame de l’Assomption Church in Montgeard and continued with a reception and an outdoor dinner at the Chateau de Fajac. On Sunday we received again our guests at the Chateau for a brunch in the sun accompanied by the Foodtruck “Mecs aux camions“. “
“Our wedding was the perfect reflection of what we wanted: a bohemian and friendly atmosphere, gourmet dishes as well as good wines, a radiant sun and even the red moon for dinner outdoors.
We were extremely touched by the presence of our family and friends to help us set everything up the day before and the day was a great collective effort.”
“Our religious ceremony accompanied by a lyrical singer was very moving, her Ave Maria will remain a moment out of time.
We also loved feeling the positive energy of our guests while we arrived at dinner. Their surprises and testimonies touched us enormously. We also keep very good memories of the relationships created with our different service providers. “
Make your wedding without compromise, it must look like you! Each stage of the preparations must be seen as part of this adventure, enjoy these precious moments together.
In times of stress, always keep in mind that your guests will be caring. Allow yourself two breaks. We had made a weekend at Hotel du Barn a fortnight before we strongly recommend it.
Finally one last tip, do not hesitate to take a videographer. The video support will make you relive this magic day.
