A wedding in the Luberon, at the abbaye Saint Eusèbe

After 12 years of love and two little boys, Audrey and Nicolas have decided to say yes, surrounded by all their loved ones, in the Luberon at Saint Eusebius Abbey. A beautiful moment captured by Soul Pics

Audrey tells us about their meeting … “In 2006, at that time, I was working in a bank on the Prado in Marseille and with my team, I often went to lunch at the same restaurant in the area. And one day, my eyes met Nicola’s . We looked each other for a long time, in all discretion.Till the day, he had the incredible locacity to look at my tickets restaurants and call directly the agency where I worked to “ask to speak to the blonde girl, who has just cut her hair and who is called Audrey!” I immediately loved his bulldog side that speaks to me so much!

Of course, I did not take the call and I directed him to another colleague called Audrey (yes, I like having fun of situations sometimes!) But deep inside me, I knew Although I could not help going back to lunch in this restaurant, hoping to cross this beautiful eyes … Then, we’ll see!

“A few months later, we received our most beautiful gift of life: our first little boy. we are avid of life, so we quickly made the second … We knew we would get married one day, but we really wanted to build our life before, both professional and personal. We live our lives to the full, we rarely have time to stop and finally, we got married 12 years after our meeting. “

The proposal

I did not see anything coming, I was not expecting a second surprise, but that was it: he had stashed my ring during the whole trip, without ever being surprised during the controls at the airport ! I was completely hallucinated. This proposal was the most romantic of proposals, it seems that we are never objective but for us it was unreal, magical, unforgettable …

Before D-Day, when we imagined our wedding, we dreamed of a huge party, surrounded by nature, surrounded by our children and people we love: families and friends, without any compromise. We really wanted everyone to be happy and have fun sharing this moment with us. It was just giving love and receiving it. Memories and an unforgettable atmosphere.

This celebration was also an opportunity to see our friends, a little scattered everywhere. We rented a cottage where we met not far from the ceremony. The conditions were exceptional and we were pampered by our witnesses, who could not do enough for us. It was already very touching and pleasant. We felt really exceptional, we felt in an atmosphere we had never experienced before, quite sweet and exciting.

During the preparations, we laughed a lot as usual, to try to delay the excitement, the desire to see him, to discover him. At the same time, I enjoyed this princess moment. Time was really suspended!

The D-Day, we had fun, we took full eyes because it was extremely beautiful and faithful to our wishes and especially full of heart: we were very touched by the emotion, the love, the attentions of the attendees. Time goes extremely fast!

A particular moment

It’s hard to choose so I put two: the ceremony and speeches, our respective speeches. It was very beautiful and very very nice to receive so much love and humor, madness! The other moment is when we raise our glasses of canvas, after our little words during the dinner. The lights, this big table, this decoration we had dreamed of : it was real, it was the present moment, and we all lived it together. We will remember it all our lives!

Advice for other couples

Before D-Day and for all the preparation: stay yourself and listen to yourself, threat yourself and just you: this is the key to a happy wedding!

Bring someone who has a good network of providers and who can introduce you to people who work really well and who will quickly understand and try to translate your desires.
