What a joy to share with you this morning the images of Marielle Maury‘s wedding dresses (which you may have known before under the name In the company of the Partridges) immortalized by Capyture and Julien Zolli, and that I had the pleasure of accompanying to direct this shooting.
The starting point of this series of images, the nature, and the desire for Marielle Maury to integrate as much as possible into her creations the concepts of respect for the environment, ethics and sustainability.
Marielle tells us more about her collection … “Simplicity is for me the art of finding the right balance in the cuts, for a harmonious and elegant rendering. The natural is this chic effortlessly “à la Française” is also the use of the most beautiful materials. Poetry is the touch of magic, the detail that makes the difference, the “couture touch” that makes us feel very special for a day not like the others… I thought this collection as a beautiful breakaway! Desires for wide open spaces, endless horizons … The place, on the plateaux of Cézallier, is just magical… Proposed by Nessa, it immediately was a crush, the rest of the team fell in love… and the result is beautiful ! “
“I worked a lot on the falsely simple silhouettes playing on the fallen fabrics, all enhanced with poetic details, such as a high collar in guipure, braces games …”
“My philosophy is to take a benevolent look at the bride-to-be. Analyze her figure based on her strengths and offer her what will make her feel at the top, while making each fitting a special moment.
My other commitment is the one for responsible fashion! Organic materials, separable pieces, dresses thought to be transformed and worn differently … to enjoy her dress longer! “
“The must of the season: beautiful cotton guipure, dense, very graphic with floral and plant motifs, a silk embroidered with delicate geometric pattern, the lightness and the incomparable fall of the silk crepe, a beautiful cotton satin, a silk tulle to fall … Crush this year for a linen jersey of incomparable softness and so majestic drape!
“100% natural materials, 95% of which are GOTS certified organic fabrics, my little personal pride, because it proves that it is possible, and the beauty and flexibility of the materials is incomparable!”
On the news side, and if you want to discover the creations of Marielle Maury, she will propose an open day for the presentation of the new collection on Saturday 10 November in Montpellier.
