Few weeks ago we gathered with Romain aka Atelier Blanc some creatives souls for the first edition of our workshop Collective, with the talented photographer Fabien Courmont.
We wanted to join our styles and our energies by creating a workshop dedicated to french wedding planners and designers. A collaborative retreat in South of France made to connect and resource our souls and our creativity. Our desire was to share a philosophy, a method, a sensitivity, allowing everyone to listen, share, and to reveal his personal universe. All this, in an extreme simplicity and graciousness.
Few weeks ago, during this creative three-day retreat in the Drôme Provençale, we set up an editorial shoot. For pedagogical purposes, we guided the participants by sharing with them the fundamental steps to follow to build their image, regarding their style and the values they wanted to put forward.
We had the desire to retranscribe the image of a current and modern bride, beautiful and singular, while appropriating the main codes of fashion world. As we both do have a firm crush on neutrals, we chose to work on a muted but warm color palette, enhanced by touch of brass. We also wanted to try new things, experiment, trying to get out of our comfort zone and first and foremost, we wanted to follow our intuition. The initial inspiration was a line. A curve, clean and organic, natural and moving, which affirms a freedom of expression, the beauty and the singularity of things handmade and craftmanship.
We deeply believe that the construction and organization of a wedding must be done in a unique way, with particular attention to the details that make sense.
