A wedding brunch

Once is not custom, it is not the wedding day but the brunch that was the starting point of this editorial imagined by the wedding agency Marie-Svetlana and photographed by Cécile Bellu. A simple, country-style brunch that emphasizes sharing and the joy of being gathered around a table.

Marie Svetlana tells us more about her inspiration for this shoot … “I love weddings that extend after the D-Day. I find it pleasant for a couple who were living an intense day in emotion, to be able to find their loved ones for a brunch the day after their wedding. Many places can be rent for a weekend with accommodation and that’s what drove this project. I wanted to highlight the weddings for a whole weekend and brunch the next day. So we start by following our loving couple on their wedding day with their pretty dress and suit. I wanted this part of the intimate editorial to put the bride and groom in the spotlight. “

“We then find them in a more casual brunch outfit. I like the idea of continuity in the two outfits offered by Mathilde Marie. The top worn the day before with a skirt goes perfectly well with the trousers for the brunch. In my opinion, the brunch is a real moment of sharing, so I imagined it generous with its big table. It is found in the work of the entire team, including the board of mignardise, imagined by Cassis&Malices. We wanted a soft and harmonious atmosphere. Floral design was very important. During the brunch, it is necessary that the exchanges of dishes are easily done without forget the decoration. It was the challenge for Maison Dautel and myself.”
